MS Project 2007 Adjusting row height when hiding sub tasks

I am using MS project 2007 on a project.

When I hide tasks to produce a summary level schedule I have no control over the row height.

The row height I get seems to be set by the program .

The row height varies between summary tasks.

Any suggestions?

Mike

Loading Schedule with Maanhours

S
SM PUM 👤 Member for 14 years 7 months

HEllo

For our client we need schdules uploaded with manhours (Not Decipline wise).I am confused that when we talk about manhours for aa certain activity then does it means that the this value of manhours is for each decipline or it is collective. For Example

In Blinding concrete=6 Mhr/Cu.m

Does it mean 6 Mhs for Concrete Mixer,6 for mason,6 for mason helper,6 for carpenter etc....or

it is sum of manhours for each decipline?

In above example I will say that each resource will work 6 hours to pour 1 Cu.m of blinding concrete??Is it correct statement?

Creative Construction

Guys,

I do not know whether it is allowed or not. (If not than please remove this thread from the forum)

We are organizing a conference on construction management, and as the chair of the organizing comittee, I'd like to devote a couple of sessions to some specific scheduling issues, like

DRAG

resurce critical path

cost optimization models

RISK issues

decision nodes

maximal relations

etc.

P6.2 (takes sometime to open)

Hi Everyone,

I have encountered a recent problem in P6.2 and it seems very unusual for me. Even our IT team althought he works on my PC via (team viewer) having a hard time to solve my problem. About log in or user name and password its working but it takes time to open maybe 2 hrs or more.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Histogram issues

I have been asked to produce a histogram for a plan held in P6.  While I am normally quite happy to run histograms the particular plan I have been asked to do it for is not what I would call a "plan" its more a management resource tracker.  I cannot change it much - its something I have inherited and while I know its not "proper planning" its what I have to go with.

First to give you an idea of the "plan".  The WBS is set up by division of company, The resources are set up as Resource ID namae = persons name, and the role as their current role
