Front Loaded Programme

Hi,

I wish to know what's the meaning of a front loaded programme? if any body can attach some snapshot of front loaded curve and briefly explain, that will be helpful.

Also want to know which is the better approach a front loaded or back loaded programme?

Thanks

In Situ Underground Car Park

Dear Colleagues,

I’m looking for an educated guess with regard to how long a 4 level underground car park STRUCTURE ONLY can take to construct. This is the information that I have:

In situ concrete: columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, ramps, cores for lifts.

Floor area: 18000 m2, (120 x 150 m), overall 72000 (18000 x 4)

Retaining walls and piles are in place, though piles need to be cut.

That’s pretty much what I have. I reckon that the overall volume of concrete will be around 35 000 – 40 000 m3 (have run some basic design calculations)

what are the fields required to generate cash flow?

J

What are the fields required to generate cash flow
Progress cashflow and forecast cashflow?
How to deduct retention and advanced payments in cash flow?
Is cashflow generated at the time client bill is submitted or after the cash being given to contractor?

How To Trace Out of Sequence Logic using the Predecessors Tab (Detail Window)

T
Thomas Frey 👤 Member for 14 years 9 months

I found a way of tracing out of sequence logic using the predecessor tab on the detail window using the "GoTo" button.

Bascially you have to turn on the Start and Finish and Early Start and Early Finish date columns in the tab.

Then evaluate the data.  Sorting by early finish can help when you have allot of tasks.

The tab looks like the attached image.trace_oos.jpg

Note that when a task that is completed has no predecessors that are not complete, the Early Start and Finish reflect the data date of Feb. 11.

Project Status in Terms of Days

I always put in my report how many days the project (RC Works) is ahead or behind. Me and the client agreed to determine that by comparing the planned planned concrete quantity usage against actual concrete quantity usage. We have been doing that for a couple of months now.

But now the client requested that we change the way we determine it. He wants me to compare the contract completion date and the forecast completion date.

Cash Flows, Is there any thumbrule for making cashflows for tendering stage submissions?, I mean Cash FLows to be shown based on the Client's Payment release or Monthly Work Done?
