I am new to this forum, i appreciate for your feedback on my following querie: I've been tasked to tackle planning and controls for 2,000 villas compound project. I don't have previous experience tackling this number of villas and my question is: What is the best way to tackle it? shall i prepare a detailed activities programme for each villa or there is another way to manage this number? is CPM still an option? any other methods like line of balance could prove more handy? how can i report progress to my Client?

I have imported a schedule from P3 to P6, all seem to be working fine untill I tried to update actuals.
the schedule early finish and early end dates seem the same. no effect on succesor activies .
how can i over come this problem

We updated P6 6.2.1 to P6 8.3 and I have some difficulties to find or reproduce a report relate with the timesheet (we use progress reporter).
I try to reproduce a timesheet report with the Wizard like in P6 6.2.1 :
I don't see this kind of report in P6 8.3

If a project has no defined budget and the actual cast is being recorded at the head office (not at the project) and not being communicated to the project manager and planning engineer means that either the project has not started or is planned to fail. Is this correct?
