Hello All,
Hi Eveyone
Can someone please help me, I assigned costs to a programme which basically is to sit back to back with an estimate. The prgramme consists of 5 LoE activities running from 02 Jan 2014 to 31 March 2014. However when I produced the stacked histogram and cost report it had apportioned some cost to December 2013; Why is my question. Also the costs have been allocated to the Monday of each week instead of being spread linearly any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Rob Corran
dear all
In activity network, can we re-organise the activities as per bar chart according to timescale
I have a Client and a Contractor both difficult to manage both don't adhere too much to the contract clauses due to some kind of friendship .
My problem is the advance payment , the contractor included it on his baseline schedule on the critical path,is this ok , I never had a baseline with an advanced payment mentioned on it before.
All,
I am reviewing a P6 schedule submitted by a Subcontractor, the schedule has;
6,793 total activities which includes;
512 date constraints
463 activities without predecessors
126 activities without successors
1 activity on the Longest Path
In the Contract there are approximately 2 dozen Contractual Milestones, for which it would not be an unreasonable assumption to impose date constraints.
I did a search before posting both on "best practices" and "recurring activities" to see if this question had already been answered but I didn't see that it had.
My question is this, is there any documentation (by any group, body, society, or agency) which provides the convention on whether or not it is appropriate to include Recurring Meetings in a schedule? In the absence of any documented convention, my instinct and experience tells me that including recurring meetings is unwarranted.
Hello,
I am trying to incorporate a productivity factor to my hours to finish the project to show an accurate spread of hours/resources needed in Histograms. However i don't want to change my remaining to earn hours (for S-Curves). Ideally i would like to use the ETC that is calculated using a PF factor, but I can't get the ETC hours to spread in a time distributed report. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve this?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Im doing a schedule for school where a project started on June 25, 2012. The project duration is 584 calendar days from the start date, which the finish date will be January 29, 2014.
I created a new calendar to represent "calendar days" meaning all days in the year is accounted for and made them 8hrs a day Sun-Sat. I chose this new calendar for my project duration activity and the finish date comes out as February 8, 2014. I am off by ten days.
Hi everyone!
What happens when you take a snapshot (baseline) of current update but the dates differ when you assign it as the primary baseline.
The dates are different when you add BL1 start and finish column for comparison.
Has anyone experienced this before? Can you guys help please?
Regards,
