Baseline

Hi everyone!
What happens when you take a snapshot (baseline) of current update but the dates differ when you assign it as the primary baseline.
The dates are different when you add BL1 start and finish column for comparison.
Has anyone experienced this before? Can you guys help please?

Hi Pat,

I think the problem you are experiencing in the display of your Initial and progress baseline has to do with your set Planned  date and start date.check the date sttings,if it does not tally,it probably means that is where the problem comes from.

Thanks Ronald and apologies if I am asking an already asked/answered question but my question is that when I maintain current update as my baseline before schedule, the dates are different from the current update before I schedule. It should be the same as it is current but differs when I assign the curent as my baseline. That's my question.

This question gets asked (and answered) weekly in this forum.  You are looking at the P6 Baseline PLANNED Start and PLANNED Finish dates.  Compare them against your current schedule’s Planned Start and Planned Finish dates and I suspect you will see that they match.  Good luck!
