Although i havent assigned any baseline to my schedule in bar chart i see baseline bars(project,primary or secondary) for actual activities seen attached picture
When i assign baseline i also see same bars[[wysiwyg_imageupload:1954:]]
Can anybody help me?

I have a project ongoing with no resources assigned. On the construction part I've created an excel spreadsheet with different weights for different equipments installation to show the progress.
I have been asked to compare baseline S-curve with actual S-Curve with the wights from the excel sheet. I need to assign different percentage weights in PV to do that.
Can anyone share some advice?

I am holding 3 Consultants, Im new in my position. I used to work as Contractor and Consultant. I need to enhance my knowledge and skills. Currently, I develop my templates which the Consultants should comply like Monthly Progress Report, Event Status Log, Project Status and etc...I need some templates for presentation and other work to make my department more active.
Please advice me for more duties and responsibilities of Clients Plannning Engineer.

When I manually tick the start option of a task and then hit shedule, the successors will fall back to the data line.
The same thing happens when I Manually complete a task the successors will fall back to the dataline.
Is there anyone with a solution to this problem?

P.S. Manually complete or start meaning not with the datadate update.

I have been experiencing this problem for a while now and have not found the solution.
When I perform the updates to the schedule:
Select New "Data Date", and then Apply
Some activities that should still be in progress seems to have been completed automatically.
And it is completed on a past date.
This is a big problem as I have to go and check all the activities after the update and when busy with a large program this is not very good for business.

I have recently returned to the UK after travelling Australia for the past 12 months. Prior to my travels I had worked as a project planner for 3 years on various industrial projects. During my 12 months in Australia, I worked the first 6 as a planning engineer in Adelaide. After this I travelled around Australia for the remaining 6 months. Upon my return to the UK I have found it very difficult to pick up work as a planner. I was just wondering if anyone could provide some guidance as to how I can get back into project planning soon.
