Weightage allotment to activities

Here we are following some Common Sence rule foe giving weightage to activity

Consider Boiler:

Boiler-100%

1) Engg-10%.

2) Procurement-50%

3) Construction-40%

Now Consider 1) Engg-10%

                      a) Civil-1%

                      b) Mechanical-7%

LNG Terminal Project

S
Sunil Babu 👤 Member for 15 years 7 months

Daer All,

I am awaiting the expert opinion regarding the construction of a LNG Terminal project.

Major activities of the project includes Offshore dredging works, Pipe laying works, Tranfering gas to Onshore , Processing gas at onshore and to the distribution. What are the methodology for this project and what are the risk elements involved.

What are the major civil and mechanical works involved . Also equipment mobilization requirements ..

Your views will be highly appreciated.

With Best Regards,

Sunil.

Store period performance

Dear Experts ,

When I checked our contractor's weekly and Monthly report , I found that each weekly and monthly period showing diffrent actual figures for the same month . I guess promavera just distribute the actuals over the period every time when it gets updated

My first question is - is this an reasonable reson to say that  data comes from P6 software ? or we have to do it manually to make sence ?

Second- Contrator is reluctant to use the option "Store period performance"

your view please ?

Janaka

Subcontractor's Schedule Imported but no Actual Earnings

Hello,

I have received and imported an update from a subcontractor which has actual progress for activities.  My problem is that their actual material and labor resources are all zero's.  We have both shared screen shots and in his schedule he has values for the actual material and labor.  I do not have any of those actual resource values that he is showing me.  I know that he is sending me the correct file and my resourece settings are as follows.

Labor Resource

New Website with PM Blogs and Exercises in Critical Path Drag and Drag Cost

I have just launched this new website named after my first book and the Total Project Control (TPC) methodology which emphasizes the importance of expected monetary value (or, if you prefer, ROI) as a key project and program management metric.
