I have been trying to hide activities in my P6 Schedule. I tried using filter, but it changes the duration of the project.
I wish to hide activities, that retains my Project Schedule.

My Project Manager requested that I advise on the sectionals Performance % complete in relation to the project overall Performance % complete. In a lame man terms how each section contribute to the overall Performance % complete, I have put in a dummy resource to roll up the column of Performance % Complete as per the Client request to report on the % complete and I did not assign cost to the activities. Can someone advise how does one workout the propotion of the sections on P6.

I'm trying to import an XML/MPP file into P6 v8.2 and keep getting an error

I am currently encountering this issue in prog. One day activities are dragged over two days. I checked the user preference, calendar, and admin preference all have same duration; my day has 8 hour duration and it starts from 8am but in some activities the duration starts at 9am, 11 am like that. I have no idea what is happening and how i can revert it back.
I don't use hour format in my prog but since I was looking for the solution I came across cause of the problem.
I have a preliminary schedule with no actuals from a contractor that I discovered has a critical or longest path made up of 16 multiple float paths base on free float. Most of the float paths are 1 or 2 activities. There are only 2 calendars used a 5 day and a 7 day. the 5 day calendar is used in all activities with exception of 5 activities. It only has one finish on or before constraint at project complete milestone and the NTP start milestone is on the data date. The total float is zero.
What is everyones opinion on this as far as analysis

Odd question but does anybody know if it is possible to create new indicator icons in P6 EPPM? My boss wants a P6 programme to Match and MSP programme that is using smiley faces.
We are running P6 EPPM 17.12.1

Hi everyone,
When I update my baseline in Primavera P6, an error occurs as follow "An application events has been intercepted. Please note the reference code for reference. Event code F429B079". So, I can not use update BL function in P6 anymore.
Could you help/instruct me how to solve this problem.

After reaching the 4GB limit on the XE database for the 1000th time I decided to just switch over to SQLlite. I have no reached the point where even my SQLlite database is bloated with POBS and old codes. Can someone tell me how to cleanup my sqllite DB?

I have created a new database with different global and project profiles. The problem I am having is that users cannot import from an XLS file, it only seems possible to do this if you are the Admin Superuser (global security profile).
