Hi Pplanners,
I am working with Primavera P6 19.12, stand-alone; some of my projects open in shared mode, and I do not understand how it can be possible.
It is not a strong issue at all, just to understand where it can come from.
Thank you for your help, all around the Globe

Hi Planners
How the hour per time period are being calculated manually for month and year? for example:
8 hours/day is 48hr/w but how it gives 172 hr/m and 2000 hr/yr
Also, when we change the hours per time period under user prefernces, it does not change under calendar form, so we have to change it there again.

Greetings planners,
I have a schedule with calendar six days working from 8:00 a.m to 17:00 applied to all tasks. The dates for the tasks are completely strange for me. for example:
task A: 5 days, the start date is 16 Jan 8:00, it gives me the finish date 21 Jan 9:00
task B: 3 days, the start date is 16 Jan 8:00, it gives me the finish date 19 Jan 10:00
knowing that from 16 Jan to 21 Jan, no holidays or off days.
I am really confiused about the calendar

Muataz

Global Activity Codes are not getting exported in the xer file. I tried opening the exported xer files with Wordpad & also in another PC but the global activity codes are not present in both cases. How to export Global Activity Codes in the complete project export xer file?
Hi all,
probably more aimed at P6 administrators...
I've been using P6 for monthly reporting for a long time now. Simple process of opening all relevant plans, then runnning a saved reort to output remaining early units by Activity ID. This month, all has gone wrong, but nobody has altered the reports at all. No matter what I do, P6 assumes I had dozens of other plans open (even if I only have one open at the time), and also won't output activity IDs.
Usual format is:
Hi
I've added resources to my level of effort bars (made more sense i thought, as you would have 1 gang complete x amount of activities), yet when I come to look at the histogram they don't appear?
I never needed to do resource loading before, and this project is for studying.
Kind Regards
Philip
