Hi
I have a P6 Master Forecast File. I have attached the Baseline File (BL) and Last Month Status File (BL1).
When I compare dates shown in Last month P6 file the dates do not tie to the actual dates for activities concerned. I am stumped as to why I see incorrect actual dates in the previous month file.
Has anybody else encounteres this problem and what is it that I am missing or doing incorrectly?

I have an activitiy (not started) which is scheduled to start in 29 March 2017 and finish in 08 May 2017. However, when i chect the remaining total cost layout, it shows the total cost only in May 2017. It does not distribute the cost evenly.
I do not have any curve assingned to that resource.
Calculation settings which are checked:
Link budget and At Completion for not started activities
Reset remaining duration and units to original
Substract actual from at completion
PMI Aberdeen - Tuesday 14th March 18:30hrs

Hello everyone,
I have problem saving P6 acitivities that are entered in a different language. I'm using P6 16.1 and my activity description is in Japanese. When I'm done entering the activities and exist the schedule, all activities would display question marks when I open the schedule again.
Does anyone know a fix?

Hello,
P6 has a default 8hrs/day (Hours/Time period). If we create a calendar of 10 hrs/day, the duration gets affected because of the default 8hrs/day. What's the best way to fix this.

I have a suite of projects that is resource loaded with defined roles first and people filled in as resources once they are assigned. I have a stacked histogram set up to show by resource and by role separately. Is there a way to combine that function in p6? I need to be able to choose a role and show that stacked histogram for say "engineers" and have the stack be bob, suzy, joe, fred, etc., excluding "project managers" and "designers", for instance.

My company is working a data science initiative which requires me to understand more about the "back-end" of P6. Does anyone have experience with the tables/fields that make up P6? I am brand new to the software and am wondering about a couple of things right off:
I am attempting to aplly different sorting parameters to individual WBS levels rather than sorting the entire scedule with a single sorting parameter. Is this doable?
Hi all,
I was just wondering if it is possible to see cross-schedulecritical paths; e.g. if I have a project split into 3 schedules, which are linked together with inter-project dependencies, is it possible to see 1 critical path for the whole thing?
