MS Project 2003 export to Excel 2010 WBS intact

Hello,

Does anyone know how I can export, copy/paste, an MS Project file to Excel and retain the WBS structure?  Summary tasks bold, child tasks indented, etc.

My current workaround is to add the WBS column to the Project file and copy/paste into Excel.  Then I have to manually indent and bold.

Thanks and be well,

Eric

How do you keep relationships when moving an activity?

R
Raul Santos 👤 Member for 16 years 7 months

I have moved some activities (with Ctrl-X and pasted them with Ctrl-V) and have lost either the predecessor, successors or both. Can anyone tell me how to move activities without losing their relationships (especially in MSP 2003)?

Default calendar changed but made no impact

L
Lan Wei 👤 Member for 15 years 9 months

Dear fellow professionals,

I'm havign to use ms project 2003 to plan for a very small job, but with resource and number of hours (in work).

The actual working hours for all resources are 8-12, 13-16:30, so 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week. Straight forward. I therefore set this as default in the calendar, but when I go to the calendar itself the defalut for each day is still 8 hours, but when I check in Tools-Options-Calendar the default is as I set it to be.
