Questions & answers for MS Project software
This may be a basic question, but I want to design a plan that works back from a given delivery date. I've discovered I can enter predecessors with a minus number of days, but it doesn't appear to work the dates back consistently. Ideas?
I am having huge problems trying to export a project created in MS Project (by my owner) into Primavera's P4 Contractor.
I need help so that I don't have to recreate the entire project from scratch. Anyone know a way or a file conversion utility to accomplish this?
I have a resource eg rigger working 8 hrs a day(9am to 5pm) for Rs.300/day as standard.
Hi,
We have created a fairly basic MS Project (2007) design schedule with around 600 activities which are fully logically linked. We are having difficulty in printing oversize to PDF with the error message 'Out of Virtual Memory' / 'Out of System Memory'. The error message suggests closing down other applications to free up system memory but this does not help. Is there a quick fix out there or, should we consider re-writing the schedule?

Does anybody know a quick way of removing actuals from a progressed MS Project plan so that all the actvities can be returned to the original baseline values? I forgot to save and archive a copy of the original unprogressed baseline plan and now need to create some impact plans.

This is something which should be fairly simple to do. Is it possible to group and outline by WBS in MS Project without defining an outline code? Ok, the project naturally is sorted into the WBS but I would like to add grouping and outline bands (like in Primavera) without having to define a outline codes.

A ridiculously easy question - How do I switch onlinks in MSP? Im new to this software and I cannot for the life of me find where to switch the links on and off.
I cant find a search box for the forum, the MSP help files are no good and even google doesnt throw up anything! maybe because its so simple....?!
