Anyone can advice how to insert approval box in MS Project
Hi there,
I loaded the estimate into my project plan in MSP 2007 as cost and material resources. When is a cost resource used?
When I enter % complete, it also calculate my actual cost. I did untick this option but it keeps on doing it. How do I enter my actual costs for each month into the program? How do I get the program not to calculate my actual costs from the % complete, but rather enter it myself on a monthly basis.

Hi guys,
I'm currently working with a quite big project plan in MS Project 2007. I want to move over to MS Project 2010 and had it installed, but it does not want to open my MS Project 2007 plan. It just starts up and then close immediately. Any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it?

I'am a new user for MS Project.
(1) I created the custom column for calculate the weightage based on duration of each activities.
(2) When updating the task, i calculate the % completion based on quantity achieved vs. total quantity. The % complete will then be multiply by the weightage created.
Example:
Activity A = 60 days
Activity B = 30 days
Activity C = 10 days
Total duration = 60+30+10 = 100 days
Weighatge A = 60/100 = 0.6
Weightage B = 30/100 = 0.3
Weightage C = 10/100 = 0.1
Hi everyone, i have the follow cases in my project.
1. I need to add a First Activity (Head or main activity), cause in the moment of the creation of the project that was missing or forgotten.
2. I need to fix the indentation of some task.
In this cases i have the same problem, the task don't accept the indentation that i give them, i tried to change manually the EDT of the task and apply the new indentation but nothing, nothing work fine.
How can i force the indentation?.

Dear All,
The project baseline schedule has been finalized for a project with the start date as 15.02.11 on 07.05.11. The clients want to update / track this schedule as baseline from 18.05.11. Is it possible to track the schedule logically so late. The clients are aware theres a delay which cannot be recovered and then too are reluctant to modify the schedule.

I have détail plannings for the structures, This structures is including on the master schedule as macro activities (Major works, Finitions).
Link between this detail schedules and the Master scedule on MSP2007?
