Dear All,

My name is faizi imam and i am working on revising a beseline schedule to claim for EOT.After revising the schedule i got the new project completion date in the summary but i am not getting total negative float, instead i am getting total float as zero in the summary.

Could anyone please suggest me that how get the TOTAL NEGATIVE FLOAT in the summary so that i can claim that much project delays.

Immediate reply would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How to determine Total Float Calculation for Critcal Path

Hi Guys

I am reviewing a contractor P6 programme that has 0 Total Float as it is due to finish before the 'Must Finish By' date. It is therefore showing no Critical Path when scheduled using the Default setting 'Total Float less than 0d'. Can anyone advise what would be best way to determine a Total Float value for the Critical Path calculation? I've tried the longest path setting instead but it's not valid as activities are constrained.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Design and Built

Forums

Hello Guyz! I am new here and i found this website interesting, Below are my questions and i hope anyone could hellp me out.

1) What does the term " Design and Built Project " means? I was asked in an interview, and i don't actually know the meaning and usefulness.

2) When do the activity " Tie in " starts in an MEP work?

3 ) What does IFC means , i actually know it  means Issue for Construction but i don't really know its effect on a schedule, Who should provide this and what activities can it be delayed if this is not issued on time?
