1. Presently working as Planning Engineer with Thermax Engineering Construction Co. Ltd. in 3 x 250 TPH CFBC Boiler for J.P. Churk, Sonbhadra(U.P.)
Job Description:
1. Planning of work for Execution.
2. Inspection & supervision of all erection job at site
3. Monitoring the progress of work.
4. Site coordination with labor & supervisor
5. Prepare erection & commissioning schedule
6. Coordination between client, agency suppliers etc.
7. Supervise & coordinate daily execution by various contractors
8. Estimation of material requirements.
9. Regular meeting with the client & client representative to discuss project progress etc
10. Responsible in coordinating the project execution with various departments, analysis & design of site activity, check quality as per technical specification, project closure, billing etc.
11. Maintain identification of Raw materials, intermediate and finished goods in the site.
12. Maintain good relationships with the contractors/ clients and develop a professional team to establish the company as the contractor of choice.
Detail of Work Exp
v To execute overall on HP & LP piping fabrication and erection works include identification of materials, coordination for the qualification of welders, inspection of site as per isometric, Lay out and P&ID, fabrication of pipe spool, organize inspection of welding, coordination for the NDT, installation of piping, preparation of as built drawing and test pack, preparation of mechanical punch list, hydro testing, Flange Management and box up activities as per applicable codes, procedure and standards.
v To assist pre commissioning and commissioning activities of piping systems completed include flange joint leak test, air flushing, water flushing etc.
v To coordinate for the shutdown activities of Off plot and On plot tie in piping works include shut down plan preparation, man power, machinery, shut down materials and equipment estimation, coordination for the Permit To Work procedure with client, coordination for the site preparation etc.
v Preparation of construction method statements and procedures like procedures for fabrication of piping, installation and testing of piping and structure’s, installation of equipments etc.
v To liaise with engineering team for the completion of approved construction drawing and ensure complete transmittal of the same in to site.
To check the Bill of Material (Material Take Off) as per drawing for ensuring requirements are realistically quantified as per scope and budget and follow up the delivery of the project/construction materials.
v To liaise with procurement and material management team to ensure the project piping material delivery are in time as per planned schedule to site
Liaising with engineering (design team) to ensure deliverable like project materials and equipments meet construction requirements
Identify material specification, inspection requirements and organizes for stage inspection as required.
v To study the vendor manuals for monitoring the materials delivery and ensuring all inspection of material/equipment as per vendor specification
v To coordinate for the installation of Mechanical static and rotary equipments like vessels, pumps, blower, compressors, turbines, organizing vendor arrival to the site at the time of commissioning, coordination for the commissioning activities with vendors etc.
v Conduct daily meeting for the progress and concern related to the works with Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Commissioning discipline head, participate weekly meeting with client.
v Preparation of different types of work permits for the mechanical activities, attend the Permit To Work training classes, identify and control the hazards, site visit with client, preparation for site audit etc
Field Experience
Construction supervision on site activates for power plants including:
Providing redesign solutions for the field Problems or changes (clashing mismatching lack of material item).
Ensuring implementation and adherence to project specifications and procedures.
Responsibility for monitoring piping construction and fabrication activities insuring quality and taking necessary actions to maintain satisfactory standards.
Preparing work packages with all design documentations and method statement for work permits approval producing documentations required for field-testing including hydro test diagrams test .
Certificates mechanical completion certificates (MCC).
Witnessing all field tests including hydro test (HT), dye Penetrate (PT), Magnetic Particle test.
Reviewing all site work and prepare the punch list for the construction contractor.

v Ensuring temperature of weld at respective materials weld visual, line clearance, piping fabrication & erection,NDT,Welding inspection,Mechanical clearance etc.
v Making the inspection of fabricated piping and supervising the welding & NDT in fabrication shop.
v Coordinating with third party inspection authorities for inspection and certification.
v Fabrication, Erection, alignment & commissioning of piping.
v Involving in test package preparation hydro & Pneumatic testing activities.
v Making Protocols and Co-ordination with QA/QC for inspection.
v Responsible for completion of work at the given schedule.
v Commissioning activity like Hydro test, steam blowing, Chemical cleaning, oil flushing of all oil lines, like Turbine Lube oil System, control fluid system, BFP Lube oil system & Seal oil system .
v D-Blocking of supports.
