  • Reviewing preliminary construction drawings such as, architectural, and structural drawings, and identifying the scope of work by reviewing specifications and attending walkthroughs on work sites.
  • To estimate and manage civil and engineering projects, primarily in the industrial and commercial infrastructure sector.
  • Performing accurate quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam software and creating a cost estimation of the projects based on scope of work.
  • Responsible to analyze client requirements, develop estimates and proposals and lead final negotiations.
  • Working closely with Project Manager during the bidding process on different aspects of the project to review cost of the project.
  • Working on project scheduling, cost control, document control and resource management for awarded projects.
  • Attending pre-construction meetings and preparing documents before starting construction such as, insurance, submittals, material samples and safety data sheets for approval from General Contractor
  • Responsible to develop material schedules, equipment requirements and blueprints/shop drawings using Bluebeam and Viewpoint software.
  • Examining construction reports, attending daily meetings, meeting the design code and safety requirements, and managing material buyouts to provide adequate resources on the job site.
  • Oversee field staff and confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
