GTRM/ Carillion Rail – Project Engineer

Principal Contractor on the Track Doubling Alliance between Bicester and Aynho  Junction, approx value £15million. Primary responsibility to assist the Construction Manager in the implementation and management of all elements of the P/way construction in co-ordination with both the Civils and Signalling partners within the Alliance. Responsibilities undertaken:

• Planning and coordination of construction programme with Network Rail, civils and signalling partners, using P3 and Microsoft Project
• Managing the track and S&C design process, liaising between NWR and the designer. Dealing with technical queries
• Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification.
• Ensuring works were undertaken to the safe working methods implemented though safety audits
• Managing subcontractor works
