Planning Engineer, Leighton Contracting Qatar, Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre

Equestrian facility comprising race course, hospital, riding school, staff accommodations, etc. spreading over 1.5 sqkm with the project cost USD 450million. Leighton was the main contractor for the Design & Build contract. Key responsibilities on the project are below

• ·         Monitoring and weekly reporting of contract program
• ·         Review of subcontractors programmes
• ·         Implementation and monitoring of control tools
• ·         Assisting package managers by writing detailed programmes relevant to the package
• ·         Attending progress review meeting
• ·         Coordination with site supervisors and assisting them with short range programmes
