Contractor: PIDEC

Position: Procurement planner and controller.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying sequence of issuing different requisition from engineering department as per their predecessors.
  • Preparing list of requisitions as per engineering department’s activity lists.
  • Preparing initial schedule for procurement section as per contract time limitation, engineering and construction constraints.
  • Establishing cost control system for procurement section as per project budget and costs.
  • Preparing vendor expediting procedure and progress measurement procedure.
  • Monitoring and controlling project schedule for avoiding delay in project.
  • Preparing procurement expediting spreadsheet in coordination of procurement team for online monitoring of procurement activities and improving efficiency.
  • Preparing various range of periodical procurement status reports for project manager and Client.
  • Visiting vendor’s shop , checking vendor’s reports  and finding vendor problems and expediting problems with other parties.
