Formwork Rent Simulation

Hello,

I am trying to model the following scenario, but with little luck. Maybe Rafael or Vladimir cand help me a bit.

Scenario:

01. Formwork for columns is rented, 1 set (column) = 1000 currency/30 days, 1 set = 25 currency/day.

02. Formwork for columns rent is a minimum of 30 days. After 30 days the rent becomes 25 currency/day. If the formwork is rented less than 30 days the rent is still 1000 currency.

03. Formwork should be delivered on site 1 day earlier than the first activity of Column formwork instalation.

Reason of Delay

In order to figure it out what is delaying an activity links and resource dependencies are not enough when leveling materials and financial resources, it is the Reason of delay field what gives me this information. There are several places where you can make this field visible but perhaps the most accessible would be at the activity properties.

Strict link

Hi Everyone,

In my project i have some activities that can't be executed with delay, the second activity is modeled imediatly after first activity. For this reason I set "strict" on this activities.

After scheduling, the report below show me this infortmations.

Why this happened? Why this happened with this activies and others not happened?

Best Regards,

Daniel Morais

Priority, Relative Priority

Hello Vladimir,

For some time I have seen you added a new field called Priority Relative.

From what I have read in the manual Spider considers priorities as follows:

a). Phase priority is the highest priority and if a phase has a priority then the activitiy priorities in the phase will be ignored;

b). Activity priority will be respected in the Standard and Advance scheduling but it may be ignored in the Optimization and Optimization+ algorithms (if the resulting schedule is shorter).

Material is spent on …

Material is spent on …

Please look at the following scenario, total remaining supply is greater than total remaining consumption but it is impossible.  Dialog says material is spent on 04-02-21 but I believe it is a bit latter due to consumption on activity 2, this confuse me. For complex schedules the dialog box does not helps, unless I am missing something.

Any suggestion on how to identify the source of the problem will be welcomed.

Storage not found

Image removed.

Today I received a schedule file that had a couple of references to a storage not found.

I found the first reference was in the previous version used for comparison, a not so obvious issue. I set resource leveling option to previous version and erased the reference. Then got back to the resource leveling option and re-set to original setting - advanced.

Resource leveling activity interruptions

We can specify which activities can be interrupted by resource leveling.

  • What is the best way to report the interruptions on a table report?
  • How to filter for activities with resource leveling interruptions?

Image removed.

Activity splitting can be a cause for different values of start and finish float.
