Dear all,
I am just wondering, is it possible in Spider to put a condition, that a successor activity shall start within certain time after finish of predecessor?
One can think of plenty technological limitations, when one activity does not necessarily start immediately after the 1st one, but must start within certain period.

Hi,
I just noticed, that Spider allows, when providing actuals, to have Activity duration to be independent of resource work duration.
In the example below the activity has finished earlier, than resource has stopped working on it.
Is is something which has been missed in the software or this is done on purpose?
I seem not to be able to think of real life situation, which would be modeled by such behavior of the software.

I have a question regarding diagram.
I can see, that if I get a project file with diagram, I am unable to reverse engineer all parameters to see what the diagram is all about.
Specifically it is not possible to see, what Actions have been selected to produce diagram.
Although I do not find much value in the modeling of negative float it is frequently a requirement on our schedule specifications. Therefore I am looking for the best way to do so.

The Organizational Breakdown Structure in spider has the lowest level as resources, which is strange, I was expecting users instead?

a Very simple question
how Spider make reference to the baseline activities, does it use the activity code ( activity ID) ? or the internal identifier ( i hope it is not the identifier) ?

is it possible to define ageneric resource let's say Direct_Labor, and assign a budget hours for different activities.
it seems spider calculate the budget hours based on the duration, calendar, can i orerwrite those values.

For purpose of the discussion I am to Call FF Activities all duration type activities that have a FF predecessor link.
A FF link can create reverse logic computations that are relevant to scheduling strategy.
