Version 26.4 was released a couple of months ago. The following "feature" has been added:
"Milestone Relationships Default to Finish-to-Start
When you assign relationships to milestones in P6 Professional, the default relationship type is finish-to-start. This change improves consistency across Primavera applications and makes it easier for you to ensure your schedules meet Defense Contract Management Agency guidelines, which state that at least 90% of relationships should be finish-to-start."
Prior to this update, the default relationship type was dependent on the activities being linked. A task to task link would default to FS. A task to Finish MS would default to FF. etc.
Now it appears that we are being told that all of our links must be FS, as the Defense Contract Management Agency tell us that is what they want. Surely this should only apply to a small group of users. I suspect many of us here are outside of the US. And of those in the US, most are probably not working for the DCMA!!
Is there an option anywhere to revert this to the previous setting? I have looked, but cannot find anything.
