I totally agree. It’s an efficient method to get valuable email adresses.

But Harish wrote (somewhere post #10) that this powerpoint has a size of 18.8MB. Many mail-boxes are restrictid to <10MB per mail, so even if Harish would had sent it, it may never had reached someones mailbox.

Why don’t use/co-operate with a file server e.g. www.4shared.com for such "send-me-an-email-threads".

It would discharge PP’s server as well.

Dieter

Hi Harish

A couple of days ago I asked for a copy of your presentation and you have not responded.

I now ask all contributors to this thread who asked for the presentation.

1. Did you get it?

2. Was it any good?

My next step will depend on the response I get.

Best regards

Hi All

What Harish is offering is a powerpoint case study which may be a very useful planning aid - or it may be a basis for extracting email addresses.

Perhaps Harish could send me a copy at

[email protected]

Then I can make a judgement as to its quality.

Best regards

Good point Ahmed. Did this programme ever exist in the first place ? Or was it just a cunning trick to dupe everyone into posting their email addresses on the net (by a recruitment company?)

Even if it did exist, if it was anything like the other "fantastic" programmes I have received from PP, it was probably 10 lines long, full of spelling mistakes, with holes that you could drive a bus through. I mean, this is meant to be a forum for professional planners, why would the sequence of one steel building be the same as another ???

By the way, the web-bots will be having a field day with all your emails ! Enjoy the spam !

Hi Harish,

Please send to me at [email protected] - I am about to embark on the construction of a steel-framed warehouse.

Thanks.

Dear All

Could someone be so kind as to help me with indicative production rates of constructing the following pile types on an embankment approximately 10m high max.

1. Bored in-situ piles(200-300mm dia; max. depth 30m)

2. Micropiles

3. Screw Piles ((200-300mm dia; max. depth 30m)

As well could you suggest the appropriate piling plant.

My e-mail address is ’[email protected]’

Thanks

Come on you blokes. This thread has been going on for about four months and you are still asking for a copy of someone else’s work. Don’t you have original thoughts? Can’t you read drawings? Can’t you take off quantities? You may have caught me in a grumpy moment but, enough is enough.

Try doing it from scratch for a change. You might just get some satisfaction from it.
