Senior Planning Manager
Construction division of international developer.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the development of planning systems and controls for the £1.2b Birmingham BSF programme.
• Production and monitoring of bid conversion programmes for a number of Birmingham school and academy projects.
• Driving negotiations for the agreement of the transitional strategy for a £14m D&B Birmingham school.
• Developing the contract and delivery coordinated design, procurement, construction and commissioning programmes for £14m D&B and £34m PFI Birmingham schools.
• Developing the contract programme and assisting with client negotiations for the £125m retail development of Gloucester Quays.
• Production of the detailed construction programme for the multi building retail development at Gloucester Quays; a project involving civil, refurbishment and new build works.
• Assisting various construction teams with programme management and logistics issues, utilising short-term plans and key activity schedules.
• Programme monitoring, analysis and reporting, both internally and to client organisations.
• Managing the work allocation for one other planner at Gloucester. Mentoring junior planners at Birmingham.
• Reporting to Operations and Project Directors.
