I know I ask too many questions on this site - most of which do not get answered, and I do not supply enough answers to others. I will try to do better - but that information you provided is some of the best information I have ever received on this site. Thank you so much. It defied logic that I could not pull that information and you solved it. The default settings must be to use the planned dates which is insane. I have used earned value, but not through P6 so I would not have figured this out. Rodel Marasigan is the site hero for the day, they will sing songs about you in the mountains. Zoltan Palffy seems the most active wisdom dispenser, all good, but this one was a gem.

that is correct is it is mantain baseline then assign baseline
You have to maintained and assign baseline (either Project or Primary). Make sure that the Project settings is selected the Project Baseline or User's Primary Baseline (whichever the baseline is assigned). Change the Admin Settings on Admin Preferences --> Earned Value Tab --> Earned Value Calculation to Budgeted Values with Current Date or At Completion Values with Current Date.
Once done, you should be able to show the column with BL Project Start and BL Project Finish if set to Project Baseline (or BL1 Start and BL1 Finish if set to User's Primary Baseline) containing the Current Date of the Baseline. You can also select BL Project Actual Start/ BL Project Actual Finish, BL Project Early Start/ BL Project Early Finish..etc..
