primavera activity predecessor

Sir/s:

 

I am new in Scheduling.

I started to learn Primavera but I stumble with the Primavera own sample scheduling the "City Center Office Building"

How could it be that thte predecessor of Activity EC1090 is also EC1090 (below window) predecessor.

John in the predcessor window add a column for Project Id and that will tell you if it is linked to another project.

Also if it is linked there should be an astericks next to the start date for that activity

I think you are right. you can find it actually in the sample database built-in in the primavera.

The only reason that I can think off is you link an external activity (another project) with the same activity ID to your project.

That is impossible an activity can not have itself as predcessor it wont let you 

also no window show below

look at it carefully maybe the zero is really an O in that ativity.
