Construction Delay Analysis
No doubt; one of the major reasons for the construction delay is delays in engineering. As prevention is better than cure, I do believe that “Setting up robust engineering planning and monitoring” and “on-time clear communication of delay” are crucial to protect the project. I have documented the 6 main challenges that I have experienced in these two areas in my LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/parastoomousavi/).
I would like to open this discussion to the broader group to know their opinions and experiences. These are the challanges in my opinions, What eles I have missed? What is your experince about them?
Parastoo, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I am sort of in and out, but now there are several people on Planning Planet who are knowledgeable about critical path drag.

Thanks for your comment ;) New terminology for me. I googled it and am reading to make sure I understand it correctly
Read your articles, Parastoo. Thank you. The only thing I'd say is that you should often use the term "critical path drag", which implies precise computation, rather than the more general "delay".
I don't know what s/w package you use. Primavera doesn't compute drag, so its users need to compute drag "manually". (Hopefully, none of them are missing a finger!)
