% Complete calculated from Baseline

Hi there!

I am fairly new to Primavera, therefore the below question may seem a little strange to some of the pros here.

In the programme update for the client, I've been asked by a colleague to calcualte % complete that we should be on as of Data Date used for the current reporting period. I normally use % Schedule Complete to show the % complete that we should be on now. (I hope this is the right way of doing it!)

If this is the correct way of identify the % Complete we should be as of a specific Data Date, then which Baseline would this be calculated against - Project BL, Primary BL..etc? What if I have few BL assiged, which one will be picked up?

I apprecate your help!

Katia,

SChedule % complete is correct

It comes from the baseline copy defined as the "Project" baseline

SChedule % complete shown on summary (eg WBS) bands are waited BY COST this is very important to understand
