Hi,
I have 15 years of project management experience and 12 years as a turnaround scheduler and scheduling manager on a large oil refinery. I am looking for new challenges and would like to try my hand at forensic scheduling (claims)
Could anyone please recommend some reading material or other resources that I can get my teeth into as well as any advice on how to get into this discipline
Many thanks
James
Apologies for double post, edited the original post but it seems to have duplicated it
Thanks for the advice, predictably there is a fair bit of study ahead of me!
Hi James
In my opinion anything by AACE is unreadable.
The art of delay anlysis is changing rapidly and all the old textbooks are rapidly becoming invalid.
The new kid on the block is BIM4 or maybe even BIM5 so my advice is get to grips with that first and then develope your delay analysis skills.
You will then be ahead of the game and us old relics paths will become critical.
Good luck
Best regards
Mike Testro
I beleive AACEi Forensic Scheduling RP 2011 edition (latest) is the most comprehensive and usefull material out there.
The RP number is 29R-03.
You can download it from AACEi website.
