Sequence of execution- A/G piping insulation + heat tracing + painting

Dear Construction planner,

Is there soemone there who can confirm the work sequence for activities mentioned in the subject:

AFTER A/G piping installed, the sequence is as follow:

First painting (except the welds)

Second , install heat tracing (if aplicacble).

Third, hydrotest

Fourth, reinstament + final painting.

Final , Insulation.

Is this correct ??? any skilled construction planner out there.

Thanks in advance,

Carmen

Hi Carman

Thanks for the clarification.

This is for one line of pipes among many - your sequence is correct but please consider.

Welds need to be xray tested for integrity.

Hydro Test - could be air pressure test.

If the pipe is at high level then there may be  removal of falswork supports as the final task.

When all pipes are in place and connected then you will need a final test and balance before insulation

Best regards
