Gents,

Can you please let me know, how easily i can define the dependencies in P6, in order to show the delay events.

Cheers,

Regards,

Zaid

create a new activity code filter for the last activity only then in the predecessor window right click and customize the predecessor window and add a column for critical and another driving. Now look at the predecessors and look for they one that shows BOTH the critical and driving boxes check and click on it. Now at the bottom select GoTo keep doing this until you get back to the data date now assign all of these activities the new code that you just created. Now you can filter for that code

HI Zaid

Welcome to Planning Planet.

Does P6 have the facility to allocate codes to logic links so that they can be switched on or off?

Asta Powerproject does and that is the simplest way to define dependenceies - in fact it is essential if you are doing a Collapsed Critical analysis.

Best regards
