Hello,
I try to make a report and the date format is: Mon 8-1. I would like 1-8--2016.
In Primavera itself it shows OK.
How can I change the format in the report.

If acceptable for you try exporting the report to Excel and change the cell format to whatever you need. You can go cell by cell, use range of cells or use ASAP Utilities [free for non-commercial users].

almost any report can be reproduced in the data table where you can change the date format
