Microsoft Project 2013 - Hierarchy Heading

Hi, I am a new member here, so please excuse if my first attempt at posting a question doesn't look right. Basicaly my question relates to Microsoft Project 2013. I have recently done a construction work programme, but my frustration is that when I filter tasks to show me tasks on only certain dates, it shows those tasks, but I need the group heading, i.e. the group name or heading, that this task falsl under to also show. Hopefully I've made my query clear becuase this is somethign that I have been battling forever with.

Ivan,

Check the "Show related summary rows" at the bottom of your filter definition window.

In addition, as a general rule it is good practice to give each task a unique name such that parent/summary tasks are not needed to define the work being done.

Good luck, tom
