Apply Actuals/Update Progress

What is the difference between Apply Actuals and Update Progress, except that you can update more than one project in Apply Actuals dialog box?

Milovan,

if you read Paul Harris books, you will learn that Apply Actuals was available in former versions of the software before Update Progress

Apply Actuals can only be used when the corresponding option has been checked either at resource or activity level; therefore, you are able to select which activities and / or resources will be updated

Apply Actuals also allows the user to update a project by applying the actual hours entered in the timesheets.

Paul is not really in favor of Apply Actuals
