Hello PPers,
What could be the procedure to update a baseline in the recent P6 releases, where the Update button has been erased in the Maintain baseline dialog?
Somebody around me is suggesting to restore the baseline, edit the resulting project, and finally use the project as the "updated" baseline; I am not too confident with that, I would rather downgrade my P6 back to 8.2
Ranish,
what do you mean by "Professional P6"? are you working with client-server Primavera P6? I am using P6 stand-alone; this could explain the difference
could you please answer my question?
Thank you
We are using P6 professional 15.1, no changes to "update" menu under "maintain baseline" observed as compared to 8.2 or 7.1.
Zoltan,
"No Sir"; I am working on a stand-alone P6 and therefore I have the administrator rights on my PC
Since release 8.3 or 8.4 the "Update baseline" button has been suppressed from the "Maintain baseline" dialog
that has noting to do with which version that you are using
1. Make sure that a baseline is truly attached
2. Make sure that you have the proper rights to do this
