Could anyone help me? I'm new guy in primavera P6. It's there any activity resource templates in p6? Like Steps there is activity step templates which you can group a different step and easy to assign in each activities. I have hundreds of activities need to assign a lots of resources and I’m having difficulties for adding or assigning them.

It's workflow function, according to the current revision funciton, it can't be generate automaticly, only be found by manual.
you can make a generic resource call it whatever LUMPSUM then filter for the activities that you want to add the resource to.
select them all then rigth click and select assign then resource. THen you can export to excel and populate the spreadsheet with the manhours and or costs. Then import the spreadsheet back into P6
