Hello everyone, I am hoping if someone can asnwer my query regarding Schedule in p6 8.2 . I have been asked to find that on what date of the baseline the progress of the project would be 25% !
I can do that by scheduling the project on different dates and see what Schedule percentage i get but i want to know is their a way i can schedule my Project with respect to percentage complete of baseline rather than a date !

there are several indications that you can use to do this
time or duration- meaning on what date wil 25% of the overall time have elasped
dollars - if the schedule is resource loaded on what date would you have spent 25% of the total budgted dollars
units or manhours - if the schedule is resourc eloaded with manhours on what date would you have spent 25% of the total manhours
if the schedule is resource loaded then you can select view show on bottom resource usage profile and see the curve of either dollars or manhours to determine at what point in time you planned to spend 25% of the manhours or dollars.
In my opnion the manhours or the units is the best indicator becasue this is based on labor.
You can also download a program called Project tracker which will take an xer file and calcuate any of these for you very easily.
