Please help.
I have project that have BL units, resources assigned but have no earned value.
I believe the culprit is that the Current Schedule is earlier than the BL Dates and Data Date, so no PV was recorded, even if there's % complete recorded.
The only FIX I did is matched the Planned Finish Dates to the Current Finish Dates. After that EV, CPI and SPI popped up.
Are there any other reasons why the EV is zero?
Dear Gary Whitehead
Thank you for your valuable advices.
I've checked labor unit in the baseline and there are budgeted units.
I don't know why earned value labor units become zero even if budgeted units are loaded in baseline.
And I want to set up earned value labor units calculation that Primavera always calcuate earned value using budgeted units in current schedule. (I don't know it is possible in P6, baseline is just meaning of original schedule only for me)
Maybe I need to change Admin pereference in Primavera, please help!
(Current setting
Activity % complete
ETC=remaining cost for activity
Budgeted values with planned dates
Depending on your EV settings,
Earned value labour units = budgeted total labour units x % complete
Budgeted total labour units = total labour units in your baseline
If you do not assign a baseline, Primavera uses the budgeted units in your current schedule
So I think the baseline you have assigned is not loaded with labour units.
