I have recently imported some XERs that have been created by other users, the problems are:
There are ghost constraints on activities, basically the asterisk * is in the finsh date field implying that there is a constraint, however on the activities status tab there is no constraint selected, this is causing a problem with float calculations.
Also if I simply try todelete teh project I am getting a messgae that says the project is inuse by other users....I am on a standalone version.
Does anyone know of any solutions to these, have looked in the various project and admin settings but have not found anything that willcure the problem.

These programmes have been built as standalones but have been inter linked.

As Mike says, this is probably due to an external relationship. If you add the colums "extertnal Early Start" and "external Early Finish", you should be able to find them.
There is also an option in the scheduling window to ignore external relationships
Can't help with your other query -never happened to me. Sounds like maybe the DB has got confused and didn't register you as having logged out of the project on a previous occaision. Sounds like one for Oracle support to me.

Maybe you have imported a standalone programme that was once part of a group with cross programme links.
Otherwise Spooky or what.
