Hi Ron

I am using v8.3 and the problem of typing an S in the header has never raised its head before, until now.

The work round I use is by using the justification button. As long as that has been pressed, I am able to put what I like in the header.

The blog implies that these bugs have been around a long time.  According to my sources, they were introduced in P6 Version 8.3. Another work-around is to first click on the Font Button. One can type an “s” in the header of P6 reports in Version 7 (I just confirmed this.)  I would be interested to hear from P6 Version 8.1 and 8.2 users to see if they also have this bug.

 

In addition, there are two other bugs introduced at the same time,

  • In edit, spell check is grayed out unless you hit F7 1st.
  • In edit, fill down in grayed out unless you use right-click fill down 1st.
