Which projects are being used by which user?

Morning All,

I know there is a way to see this in P6 rel 7 but I've forgotten.  Can someone remind me please?

Thanks and Regards, Kylee.

These sort of problems underscore our point that there has not been enough work done to support the P6 System Administrator.  That is why we created PROJECT WATCH.  It monitors and displays all P6 or EPPM transactions in real time.  It has dozens of reports and utility functions as well, including forcing someone off of the system.  You can read more at http://scheduleanalyzer.com/pwatch_brochure.htm.

To answer your question, pre-version 8 P6 systems require a reboot of the server to fix the problem of a ‘lost’ user who is not logged off.  Version 8 introduced an automatic time-out for inactive users.  Good luck!

Thanks Raymund.  When I do this for one users active project I get an application error. CVRJC-0348-8.

This user does not always log off and closing projects is also questionable.

Does anyone have advice about this error?  What can happen if you don't close/ log off?

Thanks and Regards, Kylee.
