Can we assign same resource (e.g electircal technician) to differenct projects or withins same project at same time in primavera p6 r8.2.
I am trying to manage my department resources on multiple projects, one resource not to assign multiple acitivities at same time acitivities.

Exactly i wanted to know that how to prevent to reduce the over-located the resource in multiple activities.
In MS Project it, if any resource assign to two different activities in between the duration of time, it indicates resource over-located mentioned in figure. But in P6 i didn't found like this.
Can any one know about this to how to do this in P6.

Hello,
Select all the activities you want to assign a specific resource to, then select the resource and click the assign button
Then select on activity at a time to see the assignment in the Activity Details Pane
