While importing projects with diffrent calendars (i.e with different hrs/day), the activity durations were not exactly it supposed to be. How to manage this?

To manage imported dates, you need to understand the mechanics behind the process that P6 employs (actually there are several ways depending on settings and what version of P6 is being used.) I suggest that you read a paper that I presented at the AACE 2009 Annual Conference titled, Understanding P6 Dates”. You can find this on-line at http://www.ronwinterconsulting.com/published.htm.
Once you understand the process, you need to ask the people who sent you the schedule what settings they were using on their schedule. I hope that this helps. Good Luck!
In my opinion if u have a different calendar you must to set up as imported file calendar; otherwise is like u are speaking 2 different language, but is even strange because i think that the calendar is imported as activity code relationship ect..
