Hello Guys,

Can anyone guide me how can I get values for Baseline (BL) remaining units and Baseline remaining costs? My problem is when I look at the columns available, I don't find the columns for BL Remaining Units and BL Remainings Cost?

Thanks

Ijaz

That's what I was thinking. But there might be some work around. What I want is to compare forecasted Baseline remaining cost with the actual cost of the current project, so that I know we are meeting our forecasted commitments.

Any help will be high appreciated.

Thanks

Ijaz

P6 is missing many features that woulld expect from a software of this nature and Baseline Values are effectively read at activity level in activity views.

You are also unable to get Units values for Material and Expenses in Activity views and EV may only be performed aton Labour Resources and not Non Labour Resources, Material Resources or Expenses.

You will find that some Resource  data is available from the Resource Tracling View, but in general if the colunm is not there then it may not be easily obtained and you will need to resourt to reports etc. This view does not read the Basline so you will have to pull out the baseline to read the data.

Also you will find that Baseline 2 and 3 also have significantly less data available to the user that the Primary User and Project Baseline values.
