I did try exporting the file from P6 and savin it in.mpp format and then open it MSP, but then not all the linkages, dates match exactly?
Can anybody help me on this??

Praneet,
Primavera and MS Project do not compute the project's schedule exactly the same way; specifically, P6 allows 2 links between the same 2 activities, understands start and finish milestones, and more scheduling constraints than MS Project; it is therefore understandable that the projects do not match from one software to the other
