How do I globally assign a resource to a role, whilst preserving the Budgeted Units, Remaining Units, Remaining Units / Time on the activity?
I tried using Global Change, If Role = Subcontractor A, then resource = Subcontractor A, however the Default units/time from the resource over-writes the remaining units/time in the activity.
I'm on P6 version 7.0

I what to know is there any internationally accepted standard for work quantity Vs manhour?
For example 50cubic meter concreting needs this much manhour, like that? Please help......I want to know how resourses can be assigned in activities.

in my opinion the best will be to do it role by role:
1. Filter by role <x>
2. Open "Assign Resources"
3. Select all activities
4 Check resource for correct default assingment and price, correct if required
5. Assign resource
--> Apart from "2" same procedure for each role.
