Hi Everyone I am working in a project that requires earth works. My manager wanted me to show him, the progression complete % based on the m3 that we have completed. For example:We got 1000(m3) need to be done in 1 months. If my actual is 200(m3), then we have done 20%. (This is like the outcome of my resources), what do i need to do in P6 to make it showing, -20% progression other than I compulate myself and put the amount in physical completion? My own solutionI create a material "reasource". named "project completion". In unit there, i put 1000m3, price = 1, then i update it everyweek. It is just a temperory solution, because i got deadline to produce this plan.... but i realised that when i run a report on total resource, my total budget will be out, because the resouces report included this "project completion resources, which shouldnt be).

Hi Ron
I have thought about this method before. but..
For example:
I have 1000m3, i have to create 1000 steps then 1 for each step.. at the end of the week, if the result is like 56, i will need to click 56 boxes.. and my boss actually want to see Actual: 56, Budget: 1000, % complete....
how can i do it,,?
Charles
You could try using steps and the single step would be the number of metres to be removed.

Charles,
The same suggestion as your previous thread.
