Dear planners,
I wondering if it is posible to represent Gantt Bars for non-continuous activities using Primavera.
Gantt Bars represent durations, start dates and finish dates of activities in a graphic form, but this is a unique bar per line (per activitie). I mean this bar cannot has two events separately each of one.
For example, I have an activitie named "Field Monitoring" with a week of duration, which has to be doing every month per one year. I don't know how to represent that in P6.
If anybody had an advice, I would be pleased of receive it.

Primavera does not have that option that Msproject has. You must add an activity for every occasion you want to plan.
The only way of getting one bar for 12 different weeks in one year / bar is to make a special calender for that specific activity.
You should then have only twelve weeks marked as worktime in that calender.
Your activity should have a duration of 60 days if you want a year ahead and of course the special calender.
Under View-Bars-Bar Settings you tick the Bar Necking Settings and then your 1 year bar with 12 weeks marked for Field Monitoring is ready.
