I am having problems with baselines. What labour units are being used to populate the labour units in the baseline. We have updated the baseline and have a copy of the project that we are using to copy into the project as a baseline. I can view the budget, remaining labour hours to a time scale of weekly and see a number. I then copy it into the project and assign it as the primary baseline and I see different numbers in the BL project labour hours. Unsure whast happening

Hello everyone,
I made a schedule for my residential project. I completed all necessary data creation. after I schedule it a 1st time,my project end date is coming very late and my project duration is also very much. I have to restrict it to 30 sep 2013. i tried to find out my mistake but I am unable to find that. I think I have done mistake in relationships. can anybody review my schedule and tell me the correct reason.
please help me.
Great presentation. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing a great presentation. We are also having problems with baselines using version 6.2 (never had issues with V7)
Update Baseline does not work in P6 from version P3e through 8.2
If you are in 6.x version, then the budgeted units of the activities you have added to the baseline through the Primavera "Update Baseline" facility are the duration of the activity * the default allocation from the resource dictionary, NOT the number you entered in Budgeted units.
Paul Harris has done a nice presentation explaining planned dates:

May have found the issue and its in the use of budgeted values with Planned dates and current dates. We will get the expected hours using the planned dates. Hummmm not sure what the difference is and why.
