Arun,

Simply, let it be same as "Baseline Program" with Rev.1.  This is not a big issue to show even it is submitted.  This program could be called as "Baseline Program" till your baseline program gets approval from the MC / Client. After you get approval for your Baseline Program, then you will have to prepare Updated program for the updation of project.  So, no need to confuse with Revised Updated Program.

If anything found as wrong,  dear gurus, pls clarify.

Some Best Practice Guidelines (depending on the company/contract/industry) require or specify the manner by which programme revisions are named. You may have to follow these.

Otherwise, create a format where you can identify the programme type, revision number, preferrably with a date identifier, and maintain the format till completion of your project.

Arun, You could have come up with the answer yourself. It is really not a question by a planner, presumably who should know.

Same like previous your answer was not informative.

Friends I got the answer from one of the planners in our group .(Pinan)

We can call Revision -1 program.

Hi Arun

As long as it has a destinct file reference it doesn't matter what you call it.

Just make sure that it has some relevance to the reason for the change.

You can keep an excell record of the changes with the file ref and details of all the changes made so that everybody involved can see what is going on.

Hi Arun

Why not just Rev 02?

Personally I like to add the date in the revision:

Rev-12-05-13 - (yy-mm-dd).

That way it will always drop into the file flist in the correct order.

Best regards
